A look of disdain or some-sort, crossed over the boys face as he quietly pursed his lips; Eyes locked on one target. Was he going to say anything? No, Of course not–but that didn’t make him any less annoyed and if looks could kill, he was for sure that his hyung would have different kinds of knifes protruding from him in every which way and direction. Out of all of the members, Sungjong felt the most brotherly with Sungyeol, They got along half of the time and the other half of the time they were at odd ends with each other; This time was no different. Yeah, maybe it wasn’t the other’s fault in this situation, but Sungjong was sulking; he was pouting. He didn’t care at that point and only was putting the entire blame on Sungyeol. He could feel that the other was uncomfortable under his gaze but didn’t say a word in response to it; Possibly because Sungjong could easily play it off and it wasn’t worth the confrontation.

The incident–Sungjong had been saving snacks secretly in his bag for what seemed a long time…definitely a month or so, and it was a bunch there. He used all his allowance money to buy it up and would from time to time splurge on it when he was feeling down. Yet, today, he wasn’t so lucky. When he went to go find it–it was gone and the reason it was gone was lee-sung-yeol. Sungyeol had ‘accidentally’ asked about them to someone other than him and they got taken away–even worse Sungjong got scolded for hiding (and hoarding) snacks and treats when he wasn’t supposed to. A few was fine, and that’s how he normally did things, but the way things looked in this situation was bad.  Of  course he was also to blame for keeping it in a place like that where he could find it and even more so for even keeping that much, but at this moment all he was doing was pointing fingers–until he calmed down that was.

He really just wanted to eat his favorite candy, that was all really. Eyes lowering to the hands that were jittering idly in his lap out of nervous habit, he lifted them to the tabletop–resting his head in his arms. There wasn’t much to do here– some of the other members were quietly conversing but they could probably also feel the heated tension that Sungjong had been radiating earlier so it was slightly hushed or they didn’t bother to include Sungjong because he could seriously be a brat in situations when he was upset–as much as he hated to be called that, it was true. Pressing his cheek against his arm, he yawned quietly and eyes slowly drooped despite the moderate chatter around him. He was really hungry at this time, and all he could think about was eating the candies that had been taken from him, maybe a silly though or two; but he wished he could honestly eat the candies in his thoughts.

a grumbled erupted from his stomach and he simply groaned in annoyance, discomfort as he readjusted his head on his arms. He was starting to feel stupid now, as he let his eyes close; because of his stubborn actions earlier, he didn’t eat when everyone else ate, but when Sungjong was mad, he was strong willed (usually), he wouldn’t dare ask to eat because that would be him admitting that he made a mistake and he was being stubborn like a little kid. he refused. Now, all his thoughts were on foods that he most desired…Something like Kimchi Jiggae and some tofu that was 'salad-y’ in taste, he didn’t know the real name of it, but he remembered going out with a friend and getting it and feeling super happy and bringing home some for himself but only to have left it at his friends house. Hen ever really got to taste it again because that place had changed their side dishes every day or so–plus his friend had accidentally knocked over a glass of water and everyone’s attention was on them afterwards, it didn’t help that Sungjong was looking like a shady jogger at 5am with his hood up and a hat on also.

Really, he wanted to eat that at the moment…something…something with meat as well. Maybe samgyupsal–but normally meat foods were a lot of money in korea so to get kalbi or something of that sort would be basically all of his skimpy allowance, the one that he’d been using to buy small candies every once in a while. He could think about the grilling of the meat on the grill of the table at his favorite restaurant and his stomach grumbled more, a quiet whimper resonating in response to his stomach as he buried his face deeper into his arms, he was definitely going to die today…or that’s what he felt like, he was normally pretty dramatic saying he was going to die on different occasions.  He could hear that it was nearing their time to get up and head to practice on the stage as it was opening up, and he pulled back his poker face, ignoring the pitiful looks from Sungyeol who he could was feeling a bit bad for the maknae, even though it was more so Sungjong’s own fault.  Sungjong would learn one thing or another from this though. Either eat when food is given, or simply hide your candy better–probably the latter choice.
